Peglar 901 Equilibrium Ball Float Valves

The range of  Float Valves are manufactured by Peglar yorkshire

Supplied with Copper Float,

Optional Adjustable Drop arm, making these valves ideal for Cat 5 Type AB Airgap Water Tanks.

The Valve has a chamber at the far end and a central hole through the piston into this chamber, this allows the mains water pressure to fill the chamber,  thus allowing the valve to operate with water pressure equal on both sides of the piston, forming an equilibrium between the chamber and the mains pressure.
When the water  level in a tank drop, the float moves down in line with the water level, which increases the angle of the valve arm, the arm opens the valve, allowing the water to flow through the valve,  As the water level rises, the float will rise and close the valve, thus controlling the water level within the tank.
